On July 8, 2016, 27 year-old Democratic staffer Seth Conrad Rich was shot dead in Washington DC in what was thought to be a failed robbery attempt, the killer or killers having left behind his wallet (containing cash and his credit card) and his watch and phone.
Speculation at the time was that Rich may have been shot when he refused to hand over his possessions, and that his killer or killers may then have panicked and fled, fearing the attention the noise of the shot would attract.
Which doesn’t tie in with the fact that Rich was shot in the back.
Then, ‘shortly after the killing, Redditors and social media users were pursuing a “lead” saying that Rich was en route to the FBI the morning of his murder, apparently intending to speak to special agents about an “ongoing court case” possibly involving the Clinton family.’
On Tuesday, WikiLeaks offered a $20,000 reward for information on the murder of Seth rich — and seemed to suggest on Dutch television program Nieuwsuur that Rich was the WikiLeaks informant who had leaked the WikiLeaks-exposed DNC emails and was murdered.
From the video:
Julian Assange: “Whistleblowers go to significant efforts to get us material and often very significant risks. As a 27 year-old, works for the DNC, was shot in the back, murdered just a few weeks ago for unknown reasons as he was walking down the street in Washington.”
Reporter: “That was just a robbery, I believe. Wasn’t it?”
Julian Assange: “No. There’s no finding. So… I’m suggesting that our sources take risks.”
One can only speculate as to the full extent of what Julian Assange knows, stuff he’s holding back, waiting for just the right moment to reveal.
Must be some people sweating right now.
And Assange, holed up in the Ecuadorian embassy, is pretty much out of harm’s way (as long as he stays away from the balcony).
You couldn’t make this stuff up.
And now there comes a letter to GATEWAY PUNDIT from Brad Bauman, a DC consultant to Democratic candidates, requesting them to update their post with the following statement he says is from the Rich family:
“The entire Rich family is so heartened by the outpouring of support and love that they have felt over the past few weeks as they continue to come to terms with this terrible tragedy. The family is in constant contact with authorities and thank them for their extremely thorough investigation. The family believes this matter is being handled professionally and with the seriousness that it requires.
The family welcomes any and all information that could lead to the identification of the individuals responsible, and certainly welcomes contributions that could lead to new avenues of investigation. That said, some are attempting to politicize this horrible tragedy, and in their attempts to do so, are actually causing more harm that good and impeding on the ability for law enforcement to properly do their job. For the sake of finding Seth’s killer, and for the sake of giving the family the space they need at this terrible time, they are asking for the public to refrain from pushing unproven and harmful theories about Seth’s murder.”
