Trump’s mega-bomb designed to take out North Korea’s nuke facilities

Is President Trump serious about punishing “North Korea for continuing to develop nuclear warheads” and missiles capable of delivering them?

That’s the question the world will no doubt learn the answer to pretty soon.

If he is, then “the punitive blow” will almost certainly be delivered by B-2 stealth bombers, each carrying two 21-foot-long, 15-ton MOPs — acronym for Massive Ordnance Penetrator — conventional bombs “specifically designed to collapse all but the deepest buried facilities in Iran and North Korea.”

A MOP packs the kind of explosive punch that makes a MOAB look like a glorified firecracker by comparison. It’s America’s most effective “non-nuclear option for destroying Pyongyang’s best-protected weapons sites.”
