It seems President Trump can’t curb his impetuous nature. He just had to double down on his earlier remarks that both sides were to blame for Saturday’s Charlottesville violence that led to the death of one woman and left 19 other people injured, five of whom are in critical condition.
And now he’s being pilloried on his favorite medium — Twitter — by Democrats, Republicans and practically everybody else.
From news clips, it’s glaringly apparent that both sides did in fact behave abominably. But only a white supremacist Nazi supporter, with murderous intent, rammed his car into those pedestrians.
And it behooves the president to acknowledge that fact, and stick to it, at this time.
